Touring , Shopping & visiting the Gardens

Carlee wrestling the TV remote from Rebecca Lynn. She has opened up and adapted to the family well. Her first two years in an orphanage made her tough.

Carlee Mei after passport photo. The lady who takes the pictures gave her a rattle to keep her quite and still so we could get a picture. When the picture was done and we had to give it up, she went wild. The lady pointed out that they sell the rattles for 10 yuan (about $1.50 US) what a racket she's got going.

Carlee Mei at the medical clinic getting her check up to make sure she's healthy enough to enter the US.

Shopping in downtown Guangzhou. Jimmy felt like Gulliver walking through there. They were staring at our entire group as we all really stood out.

Yuntai Gardens tour with our group

Berg's at Yuntai Gardens

Western influence in their culture

Flowers

Amanda at the gardens

Charleen, Jamie, Rebecca Lynn, and Carlee Mei

Carlee Mei and her retractable legs. Whenever we try to put her down to walk, if she doesn't want to, the legs come up under her and disappear (from our view). Jimmy told Charleen not to spend any money on shoes as her feet haven't hit the ground since we got her! She has learned how to work us all very quickly.

As we toured the gardens we saw a sign for a store. With everyone wanting some water, Jimmy told everyone to wait and he would go get it. The store is at the top of this hill. Needless to say, he needed a whole bottle himself.
