Monday, November 5th 2007 after more than two years of waiting and wondering...we finally saw the face of our angel. Our family will be complete when we travel to China and bring home our Carlee Mei (currently known as Bao Long Xiang) from Guang Dong province in the Peoples Republic of China.
We are planning to make this a family trip with Carlee's new sisters (Amanda 24, Jamie 16 and Rebecca-Lynn 11). We just received her medical report and documents to complete accepting her as our daughter. In the weeks to come I hope to update this blog to reflect the preparation for the trip, as well as, the excitement of meeting and bonding with Carlee. Thank you to all our family and friends who have been supportive and prayful through this wait. We are especially grateful to the Lord for giving us the desires of our hearts. We continue to put our lives in His hands.

I look forward to teasing a new Berg girl. But Jamie and Rebecca Lynn shouldn't worry as I will still be harrassing them for many more years!

We are sooo happy to hear the Good News of our new granddaughter Carlee Mei Berg. We can't wait to touch her, kiss her, and hug her. She will have so much LOVE.
